  • Professional role (attorney, paralegal, etc.)
  • Password (stored in encrypted form — we never see your plain-text password)

When you use the Service, we collect and process:

  • Documents you upload (PDFs, DOCX, images, spreadsheets)
  • Case names and metadata
  • AI-generated extractions, timelines, and analysis results
  • Questions and responses from the AI assistant

1.3 Billing Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card numbers or full payment details. We retain only a reference to your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

1.4 Usage and Technical Data

We automatically collect:

  • Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
  • Error reports and diagnostic information via Sentry
  • Document processing metrics (page counts, processing times)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • Process and analyze documents you upload using AI services
  • Manage your account and subscription
  • Send transactional emails (account notifications, billing alerts, processing status)
  • Respond to support requests
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Monitor and improve system performance and reliability

We do not use your documents or case data to train AI models, sell to advertisers, or for any purpose beyond delivering the Service to you.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with the following third-party service providers to deliver the Service. Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. By using Eval LogiQ, you acknowledge that your documents and data will be processed by these providers.

Attorney-Client Privilege Notice: Documents processed through Eval LogiQ are transmitted to third-party AI providers (Anthropic and Mistral AI). Sharing privileged documents with third parties may affect privilege protections depending on your jurisdiction and applicable professional responsibility rules. You are solely responsible for assessing whether use of this Service is appropriate for privileged materials.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all data communications
  • Encryption at rest for stored documents and database records
  • Role-based access controls so users can only access their organization’s data
  • Row-level security policies enforced at the database layer
  • Regular security monitoring and error tracking

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

5. Data Retention

When an account is deleted, we permanently remove all associated documents, case data, and personal information from our systems and instruct our service providers to do the same, subject to their standard retention practices.

6. Your Rights

6.1 General Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
